Quickie Interview: Kim Rogers (and Giveaway!)

Where do you live?
I live in Oklahoma with my hubby and two rambunctious boys. Thank God for hockey and football!

What was your last work published?
Last year, I had an adult story, Three Precious Words published in Cup of Comfort for Fathers. Unfortunately, they have retired the series.

What is your next work coming out?
I have two stories coming out in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just for Teenagers scheduled for release on July 26th - Stacy's Secret and The Substitute.
(Check out her giveaway below)

What are you reading?
I just finished Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson and currently reading Weetzie Bat by Francesca Lia Block for a UCLA online writing class I'm taking. I'm one of those weird people who reads books simultaneously and am also reading Plot and Structure by James Scott Bell.

Where is your favorite place to snuggle down and read?
I've always loved to read in the bathtub, but one time The Help by Kathryn Stocket slipped from my hands and plopped right in. It took weeks to dry it out and it's not a pretty book anymore. I wouldn't loan it to friends, for sure. Plus, the bathtub not a good place for my Kindle, so I read in bed even in the daytime. Boring, huh?

Do you have a website?
I don't, but I do have a blog.

What is the URL? http://bleary-eyedscribe.blogspot.com/

Do you have a favorite quote?

“Courage is the discovery that you may not win, and trying when you know you can lose.”

Tom Krause

That's a nice interview, Kim. I recently read Speak too, for a class I will be taking. It's a good book.
